Grease: Rise of The Pink Ladies

Role: Houdini Artist

Software Used: Houdini, Nuke

This super fun project was a title sequence for the Paramount+ series Grease: Rise of The Pink Ladies. We recreated a hand embroidered look reminiscent of a 50s jean jacket patch.

My responsibilities included lookdev of the embroidered appearance, shading, lighting and rendering. In addition I handled the entire Nuke comp and color. I also created a custom embroidery HDA setup to automate the conversion of the 2D animation frames to the final animated and stitched appearance.
